The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) is one of the 14 member institutions under the Vocational Training Council (VTC), the largest provider of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) in Hong Kong. IVE offers a wide range of VPET programmes, including full-time Higher Diploma (HD), Diploma of Foundation Studies (DFS), part-time programmes, and continuing education courses. 
 
IVE’s programmes are designed to align with industry trends and meet market needs, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to become valuable professionals in their chosen fields. To further enhance students’ competitiveness for further studies and career development, IVE provides internship opportunities, workplace experiences, and Mainland and overseas exchange exposure.

Pathway
Diverse Pathways
IVE provides flexible pathways for Secondary 6 graduates. IVE HD graduates can either pursue degree programmes at local or overseas universities, completing their degrees in one to two years, or enter their chosen professions. IVE graduates are well-recognised for their professional knowledge, and employers are willing to hire them. The employment rate of VTC HD graduates is around 90% on average*
