
The Hong Kong Housing Society held the 21st HKHS Award ceremony on 31 January, recognizing excellence in housing and elderly services. A total of 100 students were honored, each receiving HK$10,000. Nineteen IVE Engineering Higher Diploma students were among the awardees. Kelvin Mok (Building Services Engineering, Year 2) won the inaugural "Rising Changemaker Prize," earning an additional HK$40,000 for his "Smart Elderly Community in the Greater Bay Area" proposal.

IVE Engineering students achieved outstanding results at the HKIE Building Services Division Student Liaison Group Presentation Competition 2026 on 31 January 2026. Two IVE teams excelled in a strong field of 11 teams from 4 local institutions—including The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong—winning the Champion and Second Runner-up titles. Their success highlights the innovative thinking and technical competence fostered by IVE Engineering.

52 Year 1 students of the Higher Diploma in Management for Disciplined Services of the Business Department attended the lecture from Hong Kong Customs College. During the session, students experienced the 1:1 cargo search training and the AR customs clearance training. The students enjoyed interactive activities and learned customs clearance procedures in real-life scenarios. This valuable experience reinforced the knowledge they learned in class.

The Student Awards Presentation Ceremony was successfully held to recognize the achievements of the students. The ceremony also provided a valuable opportunity for the awardees to express their most sincere gratitude to the donors in person. The award was definitely a meaningful encouragement to the awardees and inspires them to excel in their studies.
