    Hong Kong Island Student-Teacher Dance Competition

    The Party Soul Team of Concordia Lutheran School – North Point won the championship with their unique jazz and hiphop dance steps.

    Winning teams were awarded prizes sponsored by the Association of Industries and Commerce of Hong Kong Southern District and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Association.

    The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) places a premium on whole person development. Students are inculcated with a proper sense of values and encouraged to unleash their creativity through academic programmes and diversified activities. Aiming to promote its mission among the secondary schools and enhance the solidarity of teachers and students, IVE (Morrison Hill) organised the Hong Kong Island Student-Teacher Dance Competition to provide the stage to show forth their energy.

    Eight secondary schools on the Island competed neck to neck in the final competition on 29 March. The competition was categorised into Locking, Breaking, Popping, Jazz and HipHop. Consisted of 10 teachers and students, the Party Soul Team of Concordia Lutheran School – North Point won the championship with their unique jazz and hiphop dance steps. The first runner-up went to the SSCC Dance Club Team of St Stephen’s Church College and the second runner-up was clinched by the CYM Danso Team of Caritas Chong Yuet Ming Secondary School.

    The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) is a member of VTC Group. The 9 IVE campuses are located across the territory. Together they provide vocational education for secondary graduates as well as people in employment.
