    Part-time (Evening) Lecturer (Database Principle)

    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
    (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
    (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
    (d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
    (e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) A relevant recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Internet Technology or equivalent, preferably with post-graduate qualifications;
    (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience in the areas as mentioned above;
    (c) Preferably with knowledge and experience in information and communication technology;
    (d) Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and
    (e) Proven records of linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage.
     
    Note:
    Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.
