    Term Technician
    VTC Headquarters (Industry Partnership)

    Major Duties:
    (a) To assist in setting up and maintaining PC hardware & software and related equipment;
    (b) To assist in the procurement and inventory control of office equipment;
    (c) To monitor and maintain the server and develop website and system;
    (d) To assist in venue and equipment setting for online meetings, events, webinars and other publicity events;
    (e)
     
    To assist in the design and production of promotional materials, including but not limited to backdrop, leaflet, web-banner, email broadcast;
    (f) To assist in video/photo-taking and editing; and
    (g) To assist in compilation and updating of equipment/software’s operational manual and guidelines.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline;
    (b) At least 2 years relevant experience;
    (c) Good IT / AV knowledge and skills;
    (d) Hands-on experience in ASP.NET, VB, HTML, CSS, Joomla, PHP and SQL;
    (e) Strong initiative, good communication skills and interpersonal skills; and
    (f) Ability to work independently and proactively.
     
    Note:
    The appointees may be posted to one of the sites at Cheung Sha Wan. (They are also subject to transfer from one work location to another to meet the operational requirements of the Council.)
