    Activity Highlights Students' Organisations

    Students’ Union

    The Students' Union is a self-governing body run by the students for their fellow students. It is set up to foster students' sense of belonging to the Campus, promote their welfare and provide a channel of communication with the Campus Management.

    Dance Society

    KC Dance Society is a society operated under the Students' Union of IVE(KC). The society consists of a group of KC full-time students who love and enjoy dancing. To enhance their dancing skills, professional trainers are employed in some of the training sessions. The major performances of the society include performance in annual sports day, Mass Dance and Annual Performance.

    KC Christian Fellowship

    The Kwai Chung Christian Fellowship was established in 2004 in IVE (KC) under the guidance and supervision of SAO/ KC. It is managed by a group of students from different courses. The mission of this organization is to promote God’s gospel to all students in IVE/KC. There are different activities such as praying, bible study, workshop, talks and evangelism.

    Rotaract Club

    Through participating in volunteer services, students enhance their self understanding. They have also acquired event organisation and planning skills.

    Sports Club

    IVE Sport Team joins the University Sport Federation of Hong Kong Sports Competitions (USFHK), taking part in competitions like Cross Country, Athletic Meet, Swimming, Tennis, Badminton, Table-tennis, Squash, Fencing, Wood ball, Rugby, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Handball, Taekwondo and Karate.

    KC Campus Team joins the Inter-Campus Ball Games, taking part in Athletic Meet, Tennis, Badminton, Table-tennis, Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Rugby.

    Wofoo Leaders' Network (WLN)

    Wofoo Leaders’ Network (WLN) actively promotes the leadership training courses among teenagers of higher educational institutions. Their goal is to provide students who have registered as members with opportunities of planning and promoting various kinds of meaningful activities, serving as an important step of equipping them to serve our community. Their members will gain exposure to the knowledge outside textbook context and be inspired to be the future leaders of our society.

    IVElite

    IVElite is a student peer mentoring project to facilitate students to become a self-regulated learner. With the experience sharing and support from the mentors. Students would quickly adjust to the new learning environment and develop a systematic learning strategy.

    HSBC Speak for Success Programme

    “HSBC Speak for Success Programme” is a structured training programme to enhance students’ communication, presentation and public speaking skills. With a series of intensive workshops and activities together with professional advice and peer interaction, students are able to become confident, presentable and effective communicators which pave their ways to success.

    Road to Marathon

    Road to Marathon provides students an opportunity to challenge their personal limit and hone their perseverance through long-distance running. Students who have completed the programme would be sponsored to join a marathon or relevant long-distance running race.

    Peer Counsellors

    Peer Counsellors is formed by a group of students who are interested in helping people. All the Peer Counselors will be well equipped with a series of training workshop and growth camp to increase their self-understanding as well as their communication skills. They are encouraged to identify and assist those students who are in need to achieve the helping spirit of Peer Counsellors..
