A series of Chinese cultural activities were organized at ‘Eryazhai’, one of the newly refurbished activity rooms in the Centre for Independent Language Learning. Through the appreciation of Chinese musical instruments, arts and teas, students are provided with opportunities to practice using Putonghua and develop an understanding and appreciation of the Chinese culture.

To provide an authentic context for students to practice using English, the Language Centre runs an English Speaking Day on campus every Thursday. Students will be rewarded with little treats if they order in English at our school café. English-speaking Project Coordinators also organize a series of craftwork activities and mini-games to interact with students, for instance, Origami and lantern-making.

We are facing different environmental issue like global warming and extinction in the world. The Taiwan study tour aims at providing an opportunity for our students to know more about policy and social development of Taiwan.

This programme aims to provide an opportunity for students to understand the poverty and other social issues in Cambodia, to strengthen the resilience and to develop the leadership ability through different visits and voluntary services.

The objectives of this Vietnam Exchange tour are to experiencing the cultures and living environment through communicating to the youths in Vietnam, understanding the needs of disadvantaged group and learning to contribute the society.

An 11-day exchange tour in United Kingdom for 30 students of Higher Diploma and Diploma of Foundation Studies in different Departments from IVE(ST) has been completed. This exchange tour aims to enhance the students’ understanding of the social and cultural development (especially in connection with the Brexit) in the United Kingdom. Students would gain all-rounded perspectives on the social and cultural in United Kingdom through a series of exchange activities, visits, and workshops.
