To encourage community-wide participation in saving energy and carbon reduction, the IVE(ST) has signed the “Energy Saving Chapter” and “4T Chapter” with the Government and pledged:

1. maintain an average indoor temperature between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius during summer months,

2. switch off electrical appliances when not in use and procure energy efficient appliances,

3. engage staff/ students to adopt the above saving practices together,

4. promote energy data transparency, and share energy saving measures and achievements; and

5. promote building energy saving retrofit.
