He said, “The closing ceremony today marks the successful conclusion of the two-year Early Childhood Education Pilot School Campaign. I have to thank IVE for promoting green education among children, enabling the latter to understand the importance of resource conservation since they are young. I hope everyone present today will continue to spread the ethos of ‘Use Less, Waste Less’ and apply persistently what they have learnt from the Campaign to ‘Dump less, Save more’ in order to tame the Big Waster. Let’s build a low-carbon and greener Hong Kong together.”

Other officiating guests include Chairman of Environmental Education and Community Action Projects Vetting Sub-committee Dr Winnie LAW, Director cum Chairman of Education Council of Sik Sik Yuen CHAN Chant-fai, Principal of Yuen Yuen Kindergarten WONG Sau-han, VTC Deputy Executive Director of the VTC Professor Ronald CHUNG, Principal of IVE (Sha Tin) and Academic Director of CECS Discipline Dr Lillian WONG, and Head of CECS Department Lorraine PAK.
