Tmall Campus Training Center

The Centre adopts a simulated omni‑channel retail environment with dedicated zones for retail training, live‑streaming and logistics. It is equipped with industry‑standard e‑payment platforms, professional live‑streaming production and data analytics facilities, and retail management systems.
Laboratory room and Fitness room

The Fitness room provides professional equipment to train students in practical skills, such as multi-functional skin training devices, body composition analysers, and ultrasound body measurement stations.
Hospitality Hong Kong Centre

The Centre serves as an integrated training centre of the VTC Hospitality Discipline, providing professional training in hotel and catering, leisure and sports, tourism and Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE), and culinary arts. It is equipped with a range of smart and immersive teaching facilities in sports, tourism and catering, including a 14‑metre fencing piste that meets international standards, a large electronic reaction light wall and a “STEAM Fitness Hallway”, as well as industry‑standard coffee machines.
VTC Smart City Innovation Centre and STEAM Education Centre
Tsing Yi
The Centre equips students with STEAM knowledge, providing practical insights into emerging technologies. Through Smart City projects and interdisciplinary initiatives addressing urban challenges, students enhance their skills by applying technology. The Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR) Learning Zone help students grasp engineering concepts in an immersive environment.
Wine and Beverage Laboratory
Haking Wong
Wine and Beverage Laboratory spans 4,000 square feet, featuring European and American tasting room designs. It includes 38 workstations in an arched layout, each equipped with independent lighting, a washing basin, and a Formica tabletop for professional training needs. In addition to full-time student training, the Hospitality discipline regularly organises in-service programmes.

The Aviation Centre offers professional simulated mock IP cabin and check-in counter training to help students acquire industry-specific skills and real-world workplace experience.
The Electric Vehicles Training Center
Tsing Yi
The Electric Vehicles Training Center advances electric vehicle technology through cutting-edge facilities like EV powertrain platforms and high-voltage systems. Trainees gain comprehensive knowledge of EV operation, maintenance and safety in a secure environment. Equipped with digitally connected training vehicles, the centre develops diagnostic skills to meet growing industry demands for EV servicing expertise.
WE Park
Sha Tin
WE Park is a training facility for the Childhood, Elderly, and Community Services Discipline. Spanning 15,000 square feet, it features 13 play zones designed as an outdoor educational space where children can freely explore and express their creativity. Each play zone offers different types of activities, such as free play, nature exploration, constructive play, creative play, and role-playing games. The park provides open-ended, low-structure materials to encourage children to choose their preferred play style based on their developmental needs, fostering creativity and exploration through "1 material, N possibilities" of personalised play.
Dispensing Training and Pharmaceutical Care Resource Centre
Chai Wan
The center enables students to learn pharmacy equipment and dispensing process for Western and Chinese medicines. It stocks various medicines and features computer systems for dispensing and labeling in simulated dispensary. The "Smart Electronic Medicine Cabinet" automatically selects medications based on prescriptions, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
K Concept Studio
Kwun Tong
Equipped with mobile devices, computers and AV equipment for photography, filming, editing and online sharing, the studio features a mini beauty salon with complimentary makeup tools and sponsored cosmetics, and regular KOL sessions that train students in digital marketing skills through demonstrations. Students gain hands-on experience through project presentations, event organisation and internships in this creative space.
Smart Living Home
Kwai Chung
The Smart Living Home integrates smart automation and healthcare technology to create a safe, comfortable environment for aging in place. It features home automation, security systems, e-health devices and rehabilitation aids. The facility also serves as a gerontechnology training center for healthcare and rehabilitation students.
Industry Recognition
IVE receives strong support from the industry, which provides valuable insights for curriculum planning and design as well as providing extensive internship opportunities for students. Among Higher Diploma students who participated in internships, over 25% were directly hired by their internship companies. Over the years, many graduates have also secured positions in multinational corporations and large enterprises, contributing their professional expertise to various industries.

Approximately 60 full-time students from the Engineering Department formed around eight teams to participate in the Innovative Engineering Design Competition. The winning team stood out by applying creative concepts that integrated Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles to develop practical solutions addressing real community issues through effective research and idea development methods. Through this event, all participants gained valuable hands-on experience and enhanced their problem-solving skills.

Students at IVE (Haking Wong) can now gain hands-on experience in retail and e-commerce through Hong Kong’s first Tmall Campus Training Centre. Featuring retail, live-streaming and logistics training zones, the Centre allows students to take part in store operations, digital marketing, data analytics and customer service in an authentic workplace setting, helping them develop industry-relevant skills and enhance their career readiness.

IVE (Tuen Mun) Student Awards Presentation Ceremony 2026
IVE (Tuen Mun) Student Awards Presentation Ceremony was held successfully this year to recognize outstanding student achievements in both academic and holistic development, and to encourage continued pursuit of excellence. The ceremony also provided an opportunity for awardees to express appreciation to donors, strengthening ties between the Institute and the community.
This year, approximately 170 students were awarded scholarships and bursaries in recognition of their excellence in academic performance, professional skills, and extracurricular activities. The awards not only affirm students’ dedication and hard work but also support their future learning and development.
