Senior Secondary Adapted ApL(ID) Courses

ApL courses are elective subjects in the senior secondary curriculum which complement other senior secondary subjects by offering studies with stronger elements of practical learning linked to broad professional and vocational fields.  Under the current Senior Secondary academic structure, students with intellectual disabilities (ID) in Secondary 5 and 6 can opt to take a maximum of two adapted ApL courses as their elective subjects .

Students must apply through their school for enrolment in adapted ApL courses. Fees are subject to annual adjustment. (Fees are subsidised by the Education Bureau and respective schools. Students are not required to pay for the programme fees.)
