Shine Technical Aids and Resource Centre

For students with special educational needs at Shine Skills Centre and other VTC institutions:

2. 1. Providing technical aids assessment and consultation on special education needs;
3. 2. Providing technical aids, loan services for students with Special education needs, e.g. wheelchairs, assistive walking aids, desktop video magnifier, Braille display.
4. 3. Designing and producing technical aids for individual to facilitate their study and work, e.g. customized desks in classrooms for wheelchair users, railings and ramps; or
5. 4. Providing advice on exemption/ special arrangements of examinations in the course of studies.

The Centre also offers consultation and supportive services to the people with disabilities who are seeking employment opportunities.
