    Student Bodies

     

    Student bodies are supervised by SDO staff. Committee members provide activities and training to the group members. All student bodies will recruit members from early September of each year. For details, please contact the corresponding SDO staff.

     

    Buddy Matching Works

     

    The project aims at supporting freshmen’s transition to the college life. Buddies are a group of students who are selected and trained by student counselor. A number of workshops and outdoor activities will be organized by buddies in order to help freshmen to make new friends and be familiar with the culture of the institute. [top]

    IVElite - Training and Learning Project

     

    IVElite is a student development programme which is designed using an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach to learning and development. It aims to produce learning in the process of executing student activities and to build up a study culture of OBE in our campuses. In addition, IVElite prepares students for career development and equip them with key attributes for employment.

    Wofoo Leaders’ Network

     

    Wofoo Leaders’ Network (WLN) is established in different tertiary institutions to provide leadership training to students. Through planning and promoting meaningful activities, members offer their service to society and acquire leadership skills. They gain exposure outside the classroom and are equipped to become future leaders of society.

    Mental Health Ambassador Programme

     

    The Mental Health Ambassador Program provides a series of trainings and workshops on understanding emotion and positive psychology to enhance the participants’ wellness in mental health. Though organizing activities, the group promotes the importance of mental wellness and enhances the mental health awareness among fellow students in order to cultivate a healthy positive campus life.

    Drama Club

     

    The Drama Club provides drama training and opportunities for students to perform. It also aims at strengthening students’ teamwork and communication skills for personal growth and development in future.

    Games Interest Group

     

    Though participating in or learning to lead and organize different kinds of interesting games such as group games, board games and intelligence games, students can enhance their thinking ability and personal competencies.

    Adventure-Based Trainer Programme

     

    The programme equips students to develop their leadership through organizing and leading the low-event adventure-based activities. Moreover, students can enhance their teamwork and communication skills by participating in different kinds of adventure-based activities as well.

    Environmental Conservation Club

     

    Green Fashion is formed by a group of students concerned with environmental protection and ecological conservation. The group promotes green culture, encourages green living and enhances environmental awareness among fellow students. Activities on green living, global ecological crisis, organic living and health issues are organized.
